During the coal mining process, a large amount of mine water is often continuously discharged from the bottom of the mine to the ground. The water temperature is generally stable at around 18-20℃ all year round, which contains a large amount of low-temperature heat energy;

In addition, many coal mines have built various pit-mouth power plants (coal-fired pit-mouth power plants, coal gangue, coal slime and other comprehensive resource utilization power plants), and the condenser cooling circulating water volume is huge, and the temperature is generally 20-40℃.

Energy waste

This part of low-temperature heat is generally dissipated to the environment through cooling towers and is rarely used. At the same time, the heating of coal mine ground buildings (office buildings, production systems, staff dormitories, canteens, etc.), winter antifreeze of the shaft, and hot water for staff bathing are provided by coal-fired boilers, consuming a lot of coal.

Application cases

A certain coal mine discharges 18-20℃ mine water all year round and also discharges 20-40℃ pit head power plant condensation cooling water all year round. However, in other mining areas, traditional coal-fired boilers are still used for building heating, domestic water, and mine mouth insulation. Heating.

After our on-site analysis, we selected a high-temperature heat pump and a medium-temperature heat pump to recover the waste heat on site.

Application effect

The hot water of 70-75℃ produced by the high-temperature heat pump is used for heating the ground buildings in the mining area in winter, while the medium-temperature heat pump produces hot water of about 60℃ for wellbore insulation and employee bathroom spraying. Since the adoption of heat pump technology, the mining area has saved 4,000-5,000t of coal consumption and reduced CO2 emissions by 2,000-14,000t every year. The energy saving and emission reduction effects are very significant.
